Game Plan

When I took business at the local college, one of the things we had to do at the end of the semester was create a business plan. Well, instead of a business plan, here is my work it out and off plan:

  • 1 Shake for lunch
    • Everyday for lunch, one ViSalus Shake from the program "Body by Vi"
  • Protien and water for a morning snack
    • When at work, one protein bar and a bottle off energy water around 11:00 or 11:30 to keep my energy up
  • Less dinner, healther food
    • Smaller portions, with healthier solutions for dinner; simple as that.
  • Morning Cardio
    • Every morning I'll do a half hour work out focusing on my core and abs, using same work I did every morning for 5 months before my senior prom. Result last time was a flat belly and rock hard abs I was fond of showing off.
  • NO SODA; MORE WATER
    • Water, water everywhere and not a drop of soda. Soda is evil; you can lose weight just by dropping soda from your diet alone (my father is proof)
  • NO JUNK OVER 100 CALORIES (2 per day)
    • If I just can't make it until dinner, I'll have the option of a 100 cal snack with a max limit of 2 per day.
  • 11 to 7
    • The goal is to get into the habit of being in bed by 11pm and out of bed starting my work out by 7am. This way, I'll get 7-8 hours of sleep a night (depending on how long it takes me to fall asleep) and enough time to get to work by 9am. This is still a deal when I a) have the day off or b) don't go into work until second shift.
  • Exercise
    •  Thankfully, I get a good work out speed walking around the store, going up and down warehouse stairs and carrying boxes of product around. Every evening, I plan on walking a mile with my husband and dog and on my days off/half days/weekends I'll jog the same path by myself.
I have given myself over 3 months to lose 10 pounds, minimum. That give me time to start looking my best for family pictures in September. I would love to get back into my size 10 jeans, but that's the loooong term goal. Here we go!!
